As founder Directors, Paul Sewell OBE and Professor David Hall will be sorely missed, however they will remain as members going forward.
FEO was set up nine years ago by ten local business owners, with the aim of improving the local economy through peer-led programmes and mentoring for entrepreneurs and, as we approach our 10th birthday next year, it is the ideal time to refresh the board with a broader representation of the membership.
During their tenure Paul and David have facilitated the growth of FEO, which as a collective now makes an annual contribution of £3.3bn to the local economy and employs over 23,000 people.
In what will be the next chapter of our success story, the new Directors will be selected to support our vision to help entrepreneurs to start, adapt and grow, especially important during the uncertain economic times we are living in.
FEO strongly believes that through a peer support environment, entrepreneurs can thrive.
The new Directors will be announced at our AGM on 29 November at KCOM Stadium. Watch this space!
