Mark is Managing Director of media and marketing agency Yorkshire Media LTD, a business that works with other businesses across the UK providing on and offline marketing services. As the business has grown it has seen a shift from working with small businesses and startups to working with a mixture of small, medium and large business across the board. The business was started with the idea that all key services would be provided in-house, thus Yorkshire Media employs specialists in SEO, graphic design, web development, marketing, copywriting, photography, videography and aerial imaging. This ensures that the entire team have been involved in the original customer brief and produce high quality work in-line with the customer’s vision.
Marks background is in computing and IT, specifically in cutting edge technologies such as mobile operating systems, Bluetooth and various other wireless technologies. Having worked for companies such as PSION and Microsoft he has a good grounding in the corporate world.
Mark is passionate about working with the education sector to help inform soon-to-be school leavers and young adults about entrepreneurialism, a subject that he believes would have greatly helped him when he left school and is still not really talked about in schools and colleges to this day.
Having moved up from Surrey in 2002 to be closer to his in-laws, Mark started his first business as a photographer and graphic designer, he is a passionate drummer and photographer and loves his Formula 1 and MotoGP. Mark has two daughters and will freely admit that the real strength behind him is his wife Lynn.
