Stuart Everard

After spending his week at Everquip on Work Experience aged 15, Stuart Everard was taken on by the company after leaving school, he progressed as an Apprentice Engineer attending Hull College and successfully completed a BTEC Diploma in Electrical Engineering. He became a site maintenance engineer repairing a full range of garage equipment all over Yorkshire and Lincolnshire.

Stuart and two fellow engineers carried out an MBO when Stuart was 24 in 1994, this was supported by Natwest Small Firms Guarantee Loan scheme where the Government guaranteed 80% of the loan.

Everquip was asked to tender for a new VMU for the then Humberside County Council in 1999 and within the tender there was the supply of two Steel Pre-Fabricated Inspection Pits, Everquip successfully tendered for the work and that was our first two Inspection Pits that are still in use today 25 years later.

Fast forward to present day and we have manufactured over 5000 Everquip Pre Fabricated Inspections pit which are fitted in 16 Countries World wide, from USA, Qatar, Sweden, Italy to name a few.

Stuarts two fellow Director both wanted to retire so Stuart took 100% control of Everquip Garage Equipment Limited with a new management team, from Consultancy, Design to Principal Contractor and After Service.

Everquip principally carry out full workshop installation for Commercial Vehicle Garages such as Mercedes Benz, Scania, Volvo and DAF amongst others.
