Hi there, I’m Richard, owner and MD of Elite Designer Fashions Ltd who specialise is the design, manufacture and sale of wedding dresses - both retail and wholesale. We have five bricks and mortar stores spread across Yorkshire as well as our Leeds based head office and warehouse. You can find our wholesale customers predominantly in North and Latin America as well as Europe.

2026 will be our 25th year in business and we are proud to say we have survived the usual economic rollercoaster and challenges in world trade and continue to adapt and grow.

At Elite we are passionate about training young people in various business skills with the assistance of university led apprenticeships and will continue to grow our amazing team this way whenever possible.

As an apprentice trained electrical engineer myself, I still marvel at how my career developed from heavy industry, through the management of food factories - think cake, bread, pasta, ice cream and soft drinks - to finally a world of lace, silk, taffeta and sequins. But you’ve got to roll with it !

Although I am born and bred West Yorkshire, having moved to West Hull almost 30 years ago, I wouldn’t live anywhere else.

Except perhaps The Italian Alps.
