Reece Knight is the founder and director of Formara Consulting, a specialist Human Factors and Design consultancy shaping the future of healthcare technology. With headquarters in East Yorkshire and clients across the UK and beyond, Formara is on a mission to make medical devices safer, easier to use and more effective, by embedding human insight at the heart of design.

After a successful career working for large manufacturers in defence, automotive and medical devices, Reece grew convinced there was a better way to deliver Human Factors than the fragmented, compliance-driven model many manufacturers relied on. His vision was to combine deep expertise with pragmatic delivery and regulatory strategy, helping companies design devices that work for real people and not just on paper. That vision became Formara: a consultancy that doesn’t just tick boxes but transforms usability into a competitive advantage.
