Noel Johnson

Noel is an entrepreneur & educationalist who has been involved in further education & apprenticeship training for over 25 years.

Following his apprenticeship in engineering Noel spent some years working in engineering manufacture before moving in to further education to teach engineering.

He then spent a number of years working in the public sector delivering, supporting & promoting apprenticeships before establishing Springfield Training, an independent learning provider providing apprenticeships and adult education throughout the Yorkshire and Humber regions.

Noel is passionate about education and skills development, promoting apprenticeships to help businesses build a competitive workforce and putting the Yorkshire and Humber region on the world stage.

He has a wide range of education and business experience supporting and advising companies on whole team education and skills improvement. He also mentors future young entrepreneurs through the Hull Youth Enterprise Initiative.

Noel claims to be committed to maintaining a healthy lifestyle and can often be spotted propping up a lamppost gasping for air when out on his morning run (waddle)
