Nick Tudor

Nick has been involved in the building trade from leaving school at 16 years of age, he started on his tools learning many different skills until 2006 when he decided to take a risk and set up on his own with a maintenance company. This was a huge learning curve, but he thrived at running his own business and enjoyed the challenges.

In 2016, after a chance conversation with the owner of the local hardware store Woods of Hornsea, it was brought to Nicks attention that the business was soon to come up for sale. After many more discussions and some lengthy meetings, Nick and his wife Mandy took the plunge and purchased Woods of Hornsea.

Nick continued to run his building business alongside his new venture but in 2017 decided to put his full-time efforts into Woods of Hornsea, which was rapidly growing from a hardware store to a busy builders merchant.

Nick and Mandy have now been running the company for five and a half years and the business has gone from strength to strength. The workforce has increased from five to thirteen and continues to develop and improve, helping to service the local DIY community and tradesmen with its friendly and efficient service.

Nick and Mandy feel that the FEO will improve their business knowledge further, offer inspiration and help them on their journey to take the business to the next level.
