Matt Johnson

Matt’s entrepreneurial journey started in 2018 when, fresh out of university, he began freelancing, providing social media management services for local businesses. Following 3 years of growth and having identified that the challenge many businesses face is much bigger than just social media management, Matt launched Different Resonance in April of 2021.

As a content marketing agency that specialises in building brands on social media, Different Resonance now works with clients ranging from the legal sector to arts and culture, continuing the year-on-year growth Matt oversaw as a freelancer.

Matt’s entrepreneurial spark was ignited during his time at school and this is something he is keen to help explore with the next generation of talent. He is passionate about the city and commits time to promoting the area and supporting those operating within it.

Since leaving University, Matt has volunteered his time as a Governor at a local secondary school, been a part of the Humber Business Week steering group, represented entrepreneurship on the local group of Cornerstone Employers and been a founding member of the HEY Marketing Network.
