Laura Andrews

Laura Andrew is a story coach, narrative strategist and co-founder of Better Said Studio, alongside business partner Rebecca Aspin.

Laura and Rebecca are senior communication professionals with experience in leadership roles across the public and private sectors. Their work spans leadership narrative and strategic storytelling, crisis and internal communications, supporting organisations and individuals at moments of change, launch, growth or complexity.

Laura works closely with founders, leaders and expert-led businesses through 1:1 story-led leadership development - helping clients clarify their authority, build confidence and communicate with greater clarity and conviction, particularly as they step into greater visibility or responsibility.

Alongside their client work, Laura and Rebecca also design and lead small, highly considered retreats for leaders who need space away from day-to-day demands to reflect, recalibrate and reconnect with what matters most - using story as a tool for sense-making, direction and decision-making.

Better Said Studio is often brought in when the old story no longer fits. In an era increasingly shaped by AI and automation, Laura believes clarity, humanness and story are more vital than ever - helping leaders create meaning, trust and alignment where it matters most.

Laura lives in South Cave with her husband and two children and is also a writer, speaker and trail runner.
