Kate van der Sluis FREC CertI

Kate is a qualified consultant (BA Hons/FREC/HRi) with over 20 years of experience advising private and public sector organisations across Yorkshire and the Humber around people.

She is the founder of Humber HR People, a growing HR Consultancy which supports SMEs to build healthy, happy, and productive workplaces and employs specialist teams in two offices in East Yorkshire and North Lincolnshire.

Kate is a firm believer in the power of community, and in local, sustainable supply chains that benefit and stimulate regional economic prosperity.

Having moved to East Yorkshire in 2009, Kate is passionate about her adopted home as a place to live, work and invest. She has a particular interest in female entrepreneurship, neurodiversity in the workplace, education and skills, and outside of work enjoys time with family and wild swimming.
