Josh Richardson

‘Josh commenced his career in Financial Services at Informed Financial Planning in 2015 and took over as Managing Director of the firm in 2022 following a successful management buyout at the firm.

As a Chartered Financial Planner, he heads up the only independent, chartered financial planning business in the East Riding of Yorkshire.

With multiple industry awards behind them, Informed Financial Planning are not tied to any providers, allowing them to recommend products from the whole of the market which are most suited to client needs.

They offer advice to both businesses and individuals on retirement advice, investments, insurance and business exit planning.

Josh is passionate about promoting the benefits of financial advice to the wider community, particularly the younger generation. He’s also keen to highlight the careers available within the industry to graduates and younger individuals, with his firm having a fantastic track record of helping staff forge their way in the profession.

Josh has been named as one of the Top 35 Advisers Under 35 on three occasions. He specialises in retirement and estate planning for clients, working closely with solicitors and accountants in the area to provide them with holistic legal, financial and tax advice.

Outside of work, Josh and his wife have just welcomed their first child, so their hands are quite full getting used to family life.’
