David Kitney

David turned from employee to business owner in 2006 when he purchased a recruitment company that had previously head hunted him to work for Xerox.

Today Emmerson Kitney is a leading executive and specialist recruitment company working with many SME and Plc companies to source and recruit talent. “Finalist in the Hull Daily Mail Business Awards 2011”

More recently the company has expanded into managed services and offers a franchise service for those wanting to make the leap and transition into recruitment business owner.

In 2012 David partnered with an established firm of Accountants Smailes Goldie to create a unique joint venture between an accountancy practice and recruitment company. SG Financial Recruitment was born and offers accountancy and finance recruitment services. Enterprise education and developing the next generation is something David is passionate about after himself going to one of the worst school in the country league table wise (Amy Johnson School in Hull). He is an active mentor, business advisor and Board Member for Young Enterprise Yorkshire & Humber.
