Christina Colmer McHugh
Founder - CCM Universal Limited
Award Winning female tech founder, Moodbeam Inventor, Mental Health ambassador, Writer, Thought Leader, EIR at the University of Hull, Brave Minds Trustee.
Christina invented and co-founded Moodbeam, a groundbreaking health tech brand whose aim was to turn the world of emotional development upside down, whether that was within families or working families. Moodbeam was acquired in 2022 by its partner in Construction.
She has since gone on to create more tech centered businesses but really embodies the start up story and is a satellite and signposter for all those who want to start their own business and gives particular focus to those who are beginning their journey from a personal place.
Also, a prolific writer she has written for many other notable people and publications but now spends what little but valuable spare time she has writing her own memoirs, detailing her experiences from journalist to tech inventor, most notably her remarkable Moodbeam journey. Her biggest pride point to date.
Born in N Ireland, and having lived in Europe, Christina is now based in England. Prior to her invention, she spent the last 20 years as an experienced Journalist and Freelance Public Relations specialist with a demonstrated history of working in the design industry.
Skilled in Copywriting, Web Content Writing, Business Development, Event Management, and Editing. Strong media and communication professional with a Journalism focused in Communication and Media Studies from Down High Grammar School and graduated with a BA Hons degree from Surrey Institute of Art and Design.
