Having qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Ernst & Young (London) in 1992 I quickly moved into industry with one of my former audit clients, Renault UK. After subsequent stints with Toyota Finance Europe and Dial Contracts (now Leaseplan) I moved back north in 1999 and set up Ridings Asset Finance – an independent motor finance brokerage. RAF became RAFS (Ridings Automotive Financial Services Ltd) in 2020 and we now trade as Vehicles 4 Business from our office in Beverley. My experience as a Chartered Accountant and leasing specialist is unrivalled within the industry and as such I’m able to augment our motor finance offering with bespoke advice in all areas motor and related taxation.

I’m a major advocate of apprenticeships and take an active role in the development of young talent both through this route, the FEONxGen programme and Young Enterprise.
