Christopher Fenton is the Technical Director & Pilot of Octovision Media Ltd, an aerial data collection company that works to produce High-res, HDR Aerial Stills Photography & Up to 4K Ultra-HD Aerial Videography to fit each individual company needs, completing jobs in Events, Construction, Real Estate, TV and Web Stock footage, Leisure, Sports and Inspection.

After 9 years in Retail Management Chris developed the entrepreneur skills and confidence needed to set up his own business. With a keen interest in amateur photography and remote-control model aircrafts, Chris undertook months of flight training and founded Octovision Media Ltd in 2014. Chris saw a gap in the market and a great business opportunity in the Hull area for the new upcoming technology – UAV’s.

Octovision Media got its break-through when it joined forces with the C4DI Business Centre and was commissioned to capture the build footage of Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy on Alexandra Dock Hull. Since then the company has joined forces with production companies such as the BBC, Hull 2017 and France TV, using the latest technology in the field Octovision Media now has pilots in England and Scotland.

Born and raised in Hull Chris is keen to show Hull for the amazing city that it is, capturing the goings-on in the Hull area and during its rise to fame during its year as City of Culture 2017. At Octovision Media Limited all pilots are BNUC-S qualified, industry trained and CAA certified pilots and are fully licensed for all aerial work and carry additional Construction Skills Certification Scheme Affiliation for work on all construction and building projects.
