Amelia Caruso

Amelia was born in Hull and grew up in Doncaster. After graduating in Law and Business from the University of Humberside and Lincolnshire in 1996, she travelled to Madrid to qualify as a Teacher of English as a Foreign Language. She then spent 5 years teaching Business English in Spain and Italy, whilst she learnt both languages.

Since returning to the UK in 2001, Amelia has developed a successful career in teaching and still runs her own private Italian teaching business.

Amelia co-founded Alessandro Caruso Architecture & Interiors Ltd (ACA) with her husband Alex, in 2014. ACA has since built up an excellent local and national reputation as specialists in architecture and interior design for the health and social care sector. To date, ACA has a 100 % successful planning application rate and an increasing number of satisfied Client testimonials.

Amelia is applying her interpersonal and varied business skills to grow the business locally and offer ACA’s services not only to the health & social care sector, but also to the commercial, education and residential sectors. After all, the buildings where we live, work, learn and relax are equally important and profoundly affect our health, wellbeing and productivity. Every ACA architecture or interior design project is approached the same way, with the wellbeing of the building users at heart.

In her free time, Amelia sings in a choir with her 2 daughters and enjoys keeping fit, travelling and spending time with her family.
