Alison Davies

Alison (Ali) is Beverley born and bred and even though she has worked in London and further afield Yorkshire is where her home and heart lies!

Ali’s career has been varied but with people at its centre. After graduating from Teesside Polytechnic (anyone remember them?) she became a HR Manager within retail operating in Sheffield and the North East. She progressed her career into learning and development, before becoming a lecturer in HRM and Organisational Behaviour. She finished that career in 2011 with the first for profit university with degree awarding powers as the Director of Management Programmes and set up ADD HR Solutions Ltd in 2012.

ADD HR Solutions Ltd provides people focused pragmatic solutions for SME’s and its client base ranges from medical to manufacturing, domiciliary care to security, and charity to consultancy! All HR services are tailored to client needs, as every client is different! Ali’s philosophy is that human beings are all individuals, organisations need to harness their skills and abilities to achieve great results. HR policies, procedures and practices need to be written in a way that captures the culture of the business and engages with staff to enable them to do their best!

In her free time Ali enjoys shooting and is a member of a local shooting club in Lincolnshire. She enjoys yoga and can often be found sweating away in Lionheart Yoga under the tutelage of fellow member Michelle Shenton. As a glutton for punishment Ali will run the odd 10k and has participated in Hell on the Humber more than once!
