We are now recruiting candidates for the next cohort of our acclaimed Unleashing the Entrepreneur Within programme starting January 2026.

This initiative is designed to tap into the entrepreneurial talent within your business, helping to inject fresh energy, innovation, and best practice to drive growth and revitalise your company’s fortunes.

Why Unleashing the Entrepreneur Within?

Many business owners find their entrepreneurial spark dims after 10 to 15 years. Our programme offers a solution by empowering ambitious team members - ‘intrepreneurs’ - to take on key projects that bring fresh ideas and improvements into your business. With the owner’s support and time commitment, these projects have proven transformational.

• How the Programme Works
  

A select group of intrepreneurs from non-competing businesses attend four interactive half-day sessions, focused on core growth areas. The sessions are led by FEO members who have completed the programme, within a strong peer-to-peer learning environment based on shared entrepreneurial experience.

Do You Qualify?

This programme is for private sector businesses based in Hull or the East Riding of Yorkshire, employing at least 8 people, with the ambition to grow over the next five years. If you can identify an ambitious intrepreneur in your team and support them with time and authority to lead a project while attending all sessions, you qualify to apply.

Programme Commitment and Dates

Four sessions: 9:30am to 11:30am: 29th January, 19th February, 26th March, 14th May 2026

Project work between sessions requiring approximately one day per week
