New year, new business?

Date: 16 January 2025

Budding entrepreneurs looking to start their own business will be able to learn from some of the region’s successful entrepreneurs when the popular FEOIgnition programme starts again in March 2025.

FEO’s (For Entrepreneurs Only) popular Ignition programme encourages new business owners to confidently get their business off the ground with help and guidance of successful peers. And it’s free to attend.

The new and improved FEOIgnition sessions are still hosted and presented by some of our region’s top entrepreneurs who give their time and experience to help start-ups avoid some of the pitfalls and problems that occur in the early stages of running a business.

FEOignition includes real life business stories of resilience and problem solving, aiming to provide those taking part with invaluable tried and tested tips and tools.

FEO Member Sally Wray, owner of Go Hire is one of the Entrepreneurs who leads the ignition sessions. Sally comments ‘FEO Ignition is perfect for anyone starting up or thinking of starting up. It’s a whistlestop tour of all the important things that need to be considered at the start of the process. A great opportunity to meet people in a similar situation and also those who have been there and done it already. FEO ignition serves up a really big dose of inspiration by hearing about people within our own community who have achieved amazing things.’

Delegates also have the opportunity to receive help, support and the invaluable experience of FEO Key partners Gosschalks and Smailes Goldie Group

April Thurston who manages the programme said: “What makes this programme so unique is that it is delivered by a group of local entrepreneurs who are volunteering their time to help others. Recently as an organisation, FEO was presented with The Queens Award for Voluntary Service, It’s because of programmes such as Ignition that our members deserve to be recognised as they have not only given their time, but also experience and encouragement. FEO as an independent Community Interest Company has the freedom to tweak our programmes year on year which means we match the changing needs of start-up entrepreneurs.”

Anyone who is in the early stages of starting their business or is thinking about setting up a business and is interested in attending can apply via our website. For the dates and more information please visitwww.forentrepreneursonly.co.uk or email info@forentrepreneursonly.co.uk
