The Business Day at Bridlington Spa took place on Friday 9th June 2023 with a capacity attendance of 720 business leaders from across the region who enjoyed a day of networking, discovery and insight.
The day was hosted throughout by Gyles Brandreth. with keynote speakers, Clare Balding CBE, Rachel Fellows, Chair of the Collaborative CEO at Bettys & Taylors Group and Keith Harris from Treble Group
This year, FEO continued as a sponsor of the event and wanted to inspire and entertain delegates with some real life stories of resilience and positivity from members who may not have been featured in FEO presentations in previous years.
It was also our aim to fly the flag for the private sector and reinforce what FEO is all about, its origins, its uniqueness and its member volunteers. And of course, to shout about our Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service!
Our breakout session themes created an entrepreneurial buzz in the Café area, complete with our Seaside themed branding, which became FEO HQ for the day.
Join FEO directors and key stakeholders to get the Business Day off to a flying start. Be ready to be truly inspired and to learn how you too can make a right Royal difference!
Entrepreneurs need self-belief, a positive mindset and bags of resilience to deal with the problems and setbacks that all entrepreneurs have to face every day. This session gives you the opportunity to hear first hand from a broad range of FEO members who will inspire you with how every challenge they face becomes an opportunity and a chance to learn!
Growing a business is hard and Entrepreneurs need to be action oriented, open to developing themselves, their people and their processes. This inspiring session will feature real-life insights and experiences from Entrepreneurs who are ‘going for growth’
All in all an excellent day. Thank you to all FEO members who gave their time, skills and experiences for the benefit of others. A great FEOTeam effort!
