It was a pleasure to Chair the Judging Panel at this year’s Young Enterprise Regional Final in the grand setting of York’s Guildhall.
Judges had already marked the company reports and interviewed the finalists online in advance of the event and so it was a real pleasure to meet the teams in person at their excellent trade stands and witness their team spirit and passion for their businesses shine through.
The sub regional winning teams attending represented North Halifax Grammar, Hymers College, Caistor Grammar,St Hilds C of E and Ripon Grammar.
Following well rehearsed presentations from each team, the judges then retired to make their final decisions and as a result, E-Cultivate from Ciastor Grammar School were crowned the Winners.
E Cultivate will now go on to represent our Region at the national Final. Good luck and congratulations on your success.
A big thank you also to the business volunteers and school staff who give their time to help the Young Enterprise teams throughout the year.
